Day two of the Lombardia build up saw some of the same names from yesterday’s Tre Vali Varensine back in action, but also some new ones using the Milano-Torino as their platform for Saturday’s Race of the Falling Leaves.
The 179 km event was always going to come down to the second ascent of the Superga and what a mighty tussle it turned out to be.
