In another exclusive interview, THE X-CAST takes you back to 2011, to Lincoln, Nebraska, and the staging of a semi-legendary production called 'X-Files: The Musical'.

Speaking to producers Lindsey Kerns & Philip Malcom, who also appeared as Mulder in the production, Tony discusses the genesis of the show, their formation of The Colonel Mustard Theatre Company who staged it, and the other productions they put together before and since.

Along the way, Tony asks Lindsey & Phil the Five Questions of X, asks Do You Believe In... The Paranormal? And in a special version of the X-Quiz, he tests them on the musical show itself - will they remember the little details?

The first episode of The X-Files, the Pilot sees Dana Scully assigned by the FBI as Fox Mulder's partner, sent to debunk his work. Investigating a series of mysterious deaths in Bellefleur, Oregon, Mulder and Scully both come to realise there may be more to the case than there seems, and the answer could be extra-terrestrial...

Tony and Lee dissect the episode, its themes and offer some interesting production trivia - while along the way Lee answers the Five Questions of X, and is the first to face the X-Quiz about the 'Pilot'.

THE X-CAST arrives fully with its first episode, 'The X-Primer', hosted by Tony Black alongside his first guest, New York-based X-Phile, Tanya Hernandez.

Tanya answers the first regular section for new guests - the Five Questions of X, explaining her fandom, while Tony also gives his answers, fully intending to come back to the same questions at the very end of the journey.

They then discuss both the genesis and legacy of The X-Files, from what inspired Chris Carter to create it, casting choices, seminal touchstones, and ultimately how it changed the TV landscape beyond.

And finally, Tanya talks about her amazing experience in November at the New York Comic Con panel for The X-Files, where she got to see 'My Struggle', the premiere of the 2016 miniseries revival. What did she think? And avoiding spoilers, what can she tell us?
