Season 2 "Xmas" Extra

Hey! A chance to listen to some fantastic music and watch some fant… some comedy, and discuss the various strengths of Dan Ackroyd and the other one, in John Landis' classic, the Blues Brothers.  Will the boys stay on topic? No.  Will they round of an episode in a neat and tidy way? No. Is it nearing the end of an era? Still, no.

Season 2 Extra: The Booze Brothers

So, we got there. After apathy and adversity we stumbled through to the close of season 2.  How will the boys cope with the end of another season? Did they remember to keep up their dud counter? Are they planning on continuing for season 3?

Finally the boys hit their stride with insightful and comfortable commentary and review of a show that they both enjoy. Still, a great deal of digression and distraction, though. Could try harder. B+

The boys get more enthusiastic than usual about a couple of good episodes, even where they disagree with some ropey politics and ropier continuity.

Digest My Shorts are happy to announce a long-term improvement in recording and sound quality... from halfway through the episode. So prepare to grin and bear some choppy audio for (hopefully) the last time, and enjoy the new mic for our otherwise lacklustre second half.
