Chris Sidwell catches up with pro cycling's first female soigneur, Shelley Verses. In this hour-long interview, Shelley, who worked with 7-Eleven, La Vie Claire, Toshiba, TVM and Saturn, talks about learning the ropes and becoming accepted in the macho world of the men's peloton and supporting some of the best riders in the world.

Jacques Anquetil was the Grand Tour master of the late 1950s and first half of the ‘60s, and Rik Van Looy was the classics king. He was a fierce competitor, high-handed in his dominance, with 492 victories in a professional career lasting nearly 20 years. They called him the Emperor of Herentals, after the east Belgian town where he lives, and where Chris Sidwells was granted an audience.

Andy Hampsten is known to millions of cycling fans for THAT image taken as he attacked in Arctic conditions on the Gavia Pass on his way to take the Maglia Rosa during the 1988 Giro d’Italia,. He would then go on to become, so far, the only US rider to win the Italian Grand Tour.

In this episode, Andy talks Chris through some of the highlights of racing career, from riding as a rookie for Bernard Hinault to winning on l’Alpe d’Huez in 1992, and everything else in between.

Matt Brammeier is British Cycling's Senior Academy Road and Track Coach, running the U23 and men's elite programmes. He raced professionally with HTC-Highroad, Omega Pharma-QuickStep, MTN-Qhubeka and Team Aqua Blue and retired from racing in 2018, when he joined British Cycling's coaching team.

In the latest Interview show Chris catches up Matt to talk about the ups and downs of his racing career and his experiences inside the original group of Team GB Academy riders. Matt also talks about the differences between the current generation of riders and his original group who joined the Academy back in 2004 (yes, 2004!!) as they look towards the World Championships and the 2024 Paris Olympics.
